Alan Stone BSc Economic and Social History, Bristol University 1978. Alan is a prominent local historian and has written four books on the history of Shepton Mallet and the surrounding area based on extensive original research. Alan also regularly gives talks on both Shepton Mallet, Silas the Victorian Rural Postman and local and agricultural history.
Richard Stone MA Early Modern History, Bristol University 2008. Richard is currently studying for his PhD.
